Solid Core Doors

Solid Core Doors can be found on majority of commercial opening as well as most home entryways. They are constructed around a solid piece of base material, or core and may have a variety of different finishes or designs.

It offers many advantages. Their thickness helps to reduce sound transmission betweem rooms, or from outside the home to indoors. The core also provides some insulation which contributes to energy efficiency in homes. Solid core doors are also more secure and difficult to break into. These doors offers enhanced strength and durability to withstand long- term use and high levels of traffic.

Our standard Solid Core Doors are manufactured to meet or exceed the require- ments of NWWDA I.S. 1.2-87 (Solid Core Woods Flush Doors) and AWI Section 1300, Type PC – 7, American Standard for Architectural Flush Doors.
